Soccer Exam Update
By
the end of the work day, all exam scores for the 2008-09 Soccer
officials will have been entered into our system. Several action items
to note:
- Any official who scores below 65 is immediately ineligible.
- Any
ineligible official that works a NCHSAA game will be banned
indefinitely as a sanctioned official. That period of time will be
not-less-than one (1) calendar year.
- Many
officials did not log their State ID with “last name + last 4 digits of
SSN” as instructed. This causes test scores to be incorrectly assigned
as we enter them.
- Any
official who does not have a recorded test score is immediately
ineligible to officiate. They may request in writing to have a hard
copy test mailed to them. Once we receive it in our office we will
manually grade the test and post a score. Any official who requires
the hard copy test in this circumstance will have ten (10) points
deducted from their scored mark.
- BOOKING AGENTS—check your roster at the end of today to check for officials who did not score a passing grade and/or have not taken the exam. Make certain you suspend all assignments for these persons until they become compliant/eligible.
I will be checking the roster tonight and will reassign all games necessary. If you request an exam to be mailed to you, let me know your grade when it has been posted.
